Andrew focuses on investments in public equity markets. Prior to Inatai, he was a Senior Analyst at Himalaya Capital, worked in private equity at CPE in Asia, and started his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley’s former joint venture in China.
Andrew earned his MBA (Value Investing Program) with Dean’s Graduation Honors from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CPA license in Washington State and its U.K. equivalent. Committed to long-term and responsible investing, he has completed multiple programs in sustainable investing from Yale, CFA Institute, and Duke. Andrew was recognized on the Chief Investment Officer 2025 NextGen list, which highlights rising talent in institutional asset management.
Outside of investing, Andrew deeply committed to education and mentorship. He advises students through programs at UCLA and Columbia, has translated seven investment books into Chinese, some now used in university classrooms, and founded an alumni network to support students pursuing educational opportunities. Andrew enjoys hiking, running, and reading in his free time.
